AMERICA 'S SHAME

AMERICA 'S SHAME

All readers of this blog, and supporters of Orly Taitz's efforts to have the constitutional eligibility of Obama's right to be President of the United States confirmed, will be aware that reservist Army Major Stefan Cook questioned the legality of his deployment orders as is his right, and as he is honor bound to do, in accordance with military standing orders. A motion presented to the court by Orly on 7-11-09 was upheld in that Judge Carter agreed that he would expedite a hearing of the merits with no more delays by the government.

The military then cancelled Major Cook's deployment orders, which suggests that they cannot satisfy his request for proof that Obama is entitled to be POTUS, and is similarly ineligible to be Commander in Chief. I would venture a guess that not one member of the military high command can vouch for Obama's legal status at this time and therefore are under the same obligation as Major Cook to ask for proof before they can issue orders under his authority. What if all military personnel refused to accept an order until this issue is resolved? The ramifications are staggering, just as they are for the whole country if Obama cannot provide the proof of his eligibility for the office. Can he even produce an American passport? I'm sure he has a diplomatic passport - it would have been issued as a matter of course and without any proof required. There would be a record if he had been issued an American passport, and there would be an application with essential details. He has traveled outside of the United States as a civilian before he became a senator. If he doesn't have an American passport what did he use?

The shame of all this is that Major Cook has been fired by his civilian employer - a manufacturer of military products. He did nothing illegal, in fact he complied with the military code. The company is Simtech, Inc; who confirmed that Defense Security Systems, an agency of the Department of Defense, compelled Cook's termination. I don't know the personal feelings of Simtech's officers, but I most definitely understand that their whole business and financial investment is in jeopardy if they don't comply. There would follow all kinds of contractual problems, product quality problems, rejections of shipments - and no payments for work performed.

Is this what we can expect in the America of the future? Can we not feel ashamed if we don't stand up to this governmental malfeasance? It's been building for many, many years, and we have been so engrossed in our toys and undisciplined lifestyle that we now find ourselves being ruled by the servants we elected. It's time to stop the rot. The two party system is finished. There must be a genuine political opposition created by supporters of the Constitution. But hurry, because our government doesn't want the Constitution anymore - it will soon be replaced by a new manifesto expressly crafted for our new age. The age of change and hope.
