Colin Powell: "Obama Blew Away The Birthers"
ORANGEBURG, S.C. -- Colin Powell told graduates of South Carolina's premier historically black university that they were graduating during a tumultuous time that saw a royal wedding, a pope's beatification and a U.S. military assault that killed Osama bin Laden, "the worst person on earth."
But the former secretary of state and Joint Chiefs chairman told South Carolina State University's 400 graduates on Friday that he particularly enjoyed another recent event: "That was when President Obama took out his birth certificate and blew away Donald Trump and all the birthers!"
The stadium roared in approval of Powell's comments on the president's move last week to quell the doubts of those who don't believe he was born in Hawaii. The retired Army four-star general endorsed Obama's 2008 presidential bid.

He has played whatever part needed with various politicians starting with Reagan to advance his career. Now that he is wealthy, his true political ideology has been revealed. It’s OK, lots of politicians in Washington are lower than dirt sell-outs…Powell is just another. How can a man who embraced Reagan’s foreign policy support and defend the disastrous, America-weakening policies of Barack Obama? How could a man who calls himself a Republican continue to support the socialist agenda of Obama. How can a General officer in the Army support the decades old mistreatment of the military by Democrats? Simple, the real Colin Powell is, and has always been, a Democrat!

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.

ReplyDeleteAfter all this is the man who betrayed not only Pres. Bush when Armitage brought about the Valerie Plame fiasco, but also allowed an innocent man going to jail, in revenge to G.W. Bush and Iraq.
Integrity and honor is not high on the list of this man!
