Texas Gov. Rick Perry Says US Military Intervention In Mexico Should Be On The Table

Well I've been wondering when some politician would think about solving Mexico's problem for them. Granted it would be a pleasure to wipe out the cartels and gangsters they employ, but let's keep a little perspective here.

There are 30 million illegals living north of the Rio Grande, how about we recruit a Mexican army here in the US to take back their own country, instead of asking the graduating class of 2011 to fight for Meeheeco.

You probably saw this coming as well, and were waiting for the call to the US military to step in for the people who have bailed on their own country. Personally I'm getting weary of us being the dopes who fight everybody else's fight for them, while they sit on the side lines taking 20 years to train a combat ready battalion.

Just think of this as an opportunity for the illegals to do a job nobody but Americanos will do, fight and die for freedom.

I say set up some training bases on this side of the border. Give them the same basic and advance infantry training our recruits get, equip them, face them to the south and forward march to the nearest cartel stronghold. All of this can be done in an even exchange of crude oil, and everybody wins. The illegals go home, the cartels are wiped out, we get paid in crude without spilling American blood for free for once.

When the newly repatriated Mexican citizens take back their country from the cartels, they may gain a sense of national pride which will keep them home. We could work with them to develop their economy and build their land into something besides waste land.

Now ask me about cleaning up the drug users on our side of the border.

Steve
