When No Means No

I like Senator Kyl. He has been on the right side of the issues most of the time. In politics there are moments when even the most right intentioned representative gets boxed in a corner and has to cast an embarrassing vote.

PAC votes do not come under the against the Will of the People umbrella. Some votes do though. FDR wanted pro isolationist America in the fight against the Axis. It was as history proves the right thing, because our allies were being picked off one by one and we stood a very real chance of being the last of the Mohican's.

Apache water rights though is not WWII. I want the Apaches to get fair treatment. I want that for all Americans. Senator Kyl should not have attached any thing to the bill in question. No earmarks, or anything resembling an earmark, is what we mean.

If Kyl wanted $200 million then he can write a separate bill and let it be voted on. While he is writing said bill, he could identify the program he wants to cut $200 million from in order to NOT INCREASE THE DEFICIT.

Sen Kyl needs a 11/2/10 refresher lesson on just what it is We The People are after.

I have a beef or two with him about his stance on amnesty from 2005. He was leaning strongly for another round of multi-million forgiveness passes to the illegals. That was then, this is now however. Sen Kyl surely has awoken from his stupor, and figured out the Left's agenda to overwhelm us, by stacking the voting booth deck.

Sen Kyl as well as the rest, still have the taint on them, for looking the other way, on the eligibility issue. Now that in and of itself should be the deal breaker for we voters. But let's face it, not one, did say no. Not Bachmann, not Pence, not Palin, none of them.

I believe in repentance, I believe in forgiveness and redemption. Sen Kyl and the rest should go forth hence, and sin no more against the people. Otherwise we hit them with a man made lightening bolt.

As far as the Apaches, they may have to wait on their payment, even with Kyl's earmark endorsement. The bill may not see the daylight before January in the House. As much as Pelosi would like to get it in the lame duck session, not so much for the Apaches, but for the Republican nose rubbing she can inflict, there is only so much time and far more pressing issues. If said bill does get caught in the traffic jam, the 112th Congress and Speaker Boehner can strip it out during reconciliation. From a deficit perspective, we need to contact the House legislators to do just that, if that opportunity arises.

Kyl shouldn't walk away unscathed, he needs to be flogged in full view of the others because we want them all to have no questions whatsoever, that No means No, and the apple has to stay on the tree.
