More Important Fish To Fry

Ah yes the Obama eligibility matter is certainly a distraction. We have issues Terrorism.taxes,TSA infringement, border insecurity, illegal immigration, the 2011 budget, the 2012 budget, Afghanistan, ObamaCare, a failing infrastructure, a failing economy, gas prices, entitlements, debt ceiling, deficits, fair elections, the drug war, federal funded abortions, QEII on and on...

Yes these non distracted members of congress are all over these issues. So much so they're on vacation for 2 weeks.

Gas prices avg nationwide $3.90+ and climbing, food prices climbing. The 2011 Budget-$100 Billion cut promised in Nov. resulted in $352 million actually cut, Failure to fully repeal ObamaCare, or cut off it's funding and it's $105 Billion slush fund went unscathed. Planned Parenthood is still getting their abortion dollars, even NPR continues to get our taxes to slander us with. Okay, okay they did read the constituion even if they still ignore it.

These guys really know how to deliver the goods when they are left alone.

Take any of the above issues, are you happy with the results to date by the laser focused but vacationing 112th congress?

Now about that eligibility matter....

  1. Actually Steve, many of our dedicated servants are at work as we speak. They scheduled fact finding trips to many "important" international destinations, with the senior Senate group, among which are Schumer and Feinstein, going to China -. Now this is not a Democrat sponsored trip per se because we have Republicans cozily in the mix - although presumably they will sit on opposite sides of the aisle while traveling. The schedule is not available to the American taxpayer (yes, it is taxpayer funded) for security reasons (honest to God) but the dangers must be minimal because they are accompanied by their wives (and husbands?). Will they pass through customs on their return where they will be expected to declare the luxurious gifts and trinkets they collected? - they won't even see a regular airport and they certainly won't be groped on either leg (pun intended) of their journey. One benefit of this trip is that we can apply some of the marvels of Chinese technology and innovation back here in third world America. If we can lower our standard of living and our wages sufficiently we can prepare ourselves in the years ahead to becoming a sweat shop nation supplying the rest of the world with cheap products - and maybe, just maybe...rise out of the ashes to be a second class nation.
