Joining campaigns in Iowa, Georgia and South Carolina to challenge Barack Obama’s being on the 2012 ballot, COL(R) Lawrence Sellin, columnist for The Post & Email and earlier for Canada Free Press, has commenced a campaign to contact members of the New Hampshire Legislature to deny Obama’s name being added to the ballot because he is not a “Natural Born Citizen” as required by the Article II, Section I, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution (U.S. citizen, born to two U.S. citizen parents).
Sellin has enlisted a group of hundreds of American patriots and military veterans who are sending emails to the N.H. Legislature. This group, in turn, is contacting friends and family in their address books to also send emails to protest the recent Ballot Law Commission hearing which arrived at the decision to add Obama’s name to the 2012 ballot based only on the fact that he completed the application and paid the $1000 filing fee.
Sellin says:
“It does not matter where Barack Obama was born. His father was not a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth and, therefore, he is not a natural born citizen and has never been eligible for the Presidency.
There is a substantial body of evidence demonstrating that the digital Certificate of Live Birth presented by Obama at a press conference on April 27, 2011 is a forgery, in addition to a forged Selective Service registration Obama also uses a Social Security number not issued to him.
I contend that we are in our current dire economic situation precisely because our political leaders were uninformed or complicit to vet Obama properly before the 2008 election.
Now there is no excuse based on ignorance. Political leaders are asking the American people to remain silent, not to vet Obama in 2012 and endorse blatant violations of the Constitution and permanent political corruption in Washington, D.C.”

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
