Email Of The Day
May 14th, 2010I’m not one for quoting Scripture, but there are always exceptions.
WE were in slow-moving traffic the other day and the car in front of us had an Obama bumper sticker on it. It read…
My husband’s Bible was lying on the dash board and he got it and opened it up to the scripture and read it. He started laughing and laughing. Then he read it to me. I couldn’t believe what it said. I had a good laugh, too.
Psalm 109:8 ‘Let his days be few; and may another take his place of leadership.’
In this case (of course) meaning his ‘days’ in office.
Who says they weren’t prophets?

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
