Hosting a fundraiser for President Barack Obama at her home, Gwyneth
Paltrow gushed as she introduced President Obama, “I am one of your
biggest fans, if not the biggest,” and when handing him the microphone,
Paltrow said to the President, “You’re so handsome that I can’t speak
properly.” In the middle of her worship session, she added, like a
good, mindless follower of a ruling elitist, “It would be wonderful if
we were able to give this man all of the power that he needs to pass the
things that he needs to pass.”

An election for President and Commander in Chief of the Military must strive to be above reproach. Our public institutions must give the public confidence that a presidential candidate has complied with the election process that is prescribed by our Constitution and laws. It is only after a presidential candidate satisfies the rules of such a process that he/she can expect members of the public, regardless of their party affiliations, to give him/her the respect that the Office of President so much deserves.
